This study attempts to know what kinds of motivation had by the students in studying English at STIKES Cendekia Utama Kudus. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative. Setiap tahunnya, kampus ini selalu ramai dipadati calon mahasiswa baru. Sebagai informasi umum, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Cendekia Utama berdiri pada tanggal 21 February 2002 dengan nomor SK 199DO2003. Saat ini, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Cendekia Utama belum terakreditasi oleh BAN-PT.
